Conquest Cabin Doors

Ok we leave on Sunday. My family and another family who has the room next to us. I have seen people say they put whiteboards or something similar on the outside of the door and leave messages for each other.

I bought some small square magnets that you can write on. Will this work? Are the doors magnetic? The whiteboards all had tape and I wasn't sure if that would be allowed? What does everyone use and how?

We were on the Conquest in Feb. (both our birthdays plus Valentines' Day). We decorated with double tape (you could just make a loop of masking tape also) it stuck the whole cruise and came off without leaving a mark. I do not think the doors are magnetic----but really don't remember. Just keep in mind that many people walk the halls, and some are known to change messages on the door! You'll notice in the picture that each room has a message "mailbox" on the side. This may be easier to use with the added bonus that (unless they're really nosy) other people will not read your message!

Thanks. That's what I needed to know. I will bring tape. We are on the Spa Deck so not as much traffic ( I think). So, hopefully our signs will work. If not - oh well.

Post it notes in the cabin are easy and private.

Yeah -may do that too. Online it says our cabins are connecting but lady at carnival says they don't connect anymore. So, guess I will see when we get there. Are there any magnet doors inside the cabin?

We often take our nieces who get an inside cabin across the hall from us. We go to the Guest Services desk and get an extra room key to our room so they can come in as if the rooms were adjoined. That way if we are on the balcony they can come on in and out to the balcony too. They are both old enough and polite enough to knock and wait before using their key.
