Smoking areas on the Golden

Have booked a one night from Seattle and want to make sure we are not bothered by smoke. Does anyone know if there are smoking areas on lido deck? Thank you!

if you stay on the non smoking side you'll be fine

I doubt you will be bothered by any smoke.

Smoking is allowed on the port side of the Lido deck. When I've been on the Golden in Alaska, people tended to congregate at the tables near the bathrooms between the pools. Smoke really bothers me, so I learned to avoid those bathrooms. I just go use the ones in the spa instead. Other than that, easily avoided just by staying on the other side.

There is a post at the top of the page that talks about all the smoking areas on the various ships. Good reference whether you're looking for or avoiding. When we were on the Golden in March there was a small area on deck 15, the casino and the cigar bar. Also a small section of the Promenade deck...not sure where.

The smoking area on deck 15 has never bothered me much EXCEPT on our glacier sailing days when we are up on deck and want to be on that side of the ship to see. I try to find a spot at the rail far away from that area.

This is true and, yes, it's a very small area.
