MA Mini Suite on the Royal/Regal

I will on the Regal Princess early 2015 and staying in a cat. MA mini-suite. I see that Princess changed the footprint of the mini-suite and have removed the 'corner' storage units. I am so used to the old configuration of the mini suite and wonder if the changes are for the better or not. It does seem that the sofa is larger - but, I wonder if the storage in the room is less in the new configuration.

 

Have any of you traveled in mini-suites of the older variety and also one of the newer types on the Royal/Regal? If so, did you like the changes? Did you find the storage in the room better or worse? Thanks for all your comments.
