snorkeling ? ixtapa.PV/cabo/acapulco?

hello fellow cruisers

I keep reading these boards to see what people think about each port and the water, ive been to cabo and the water is rough, and i heard about jellyfish in PV

so its between ixtapa and acapulco??? any suggestions??? any info i will appreciate , we will be there in jan06

We also were hoping on snorkeling - but it sounds like the Mexican Riviera will be a big disappointment - Aw shucks :o
