fll national car rental shuttle

Hi everyone,

 

Just trying to book car rental for FLL. We mainly use National car rental. Would anyone know if they offer shuttle service from airport to port ( pre cruise ) and back when getting off the ship ( post cruise ) ? Any help would be much appreciated. TIA

Alamo and National use the same bus for transfering to and from Airport.

They use a full sized bus right outside the rental car ramp at the airport. Just be aware that if there are lots of ships in port, the bus could get very crowded with luggage everywhere and it may make a number of stops before it gets to your ship.

Alright. Thank you everyone for the help. Dont think june will be a busy month at port. At most 2 ships that sails there year round. By the way its for next saturdays sailing.

While I was so happy with Alamo/ National in the past, I just had 2 bad experiences on a B2B cruise, where the bus never came at all after waiting 45 minutes and we were the only ship in port and then at end of the next sailing, when there were 4 ships in port waited over one hour, while other companies were coming regularly. Security finally had to call to another terminal to make sure they came to ours.

 

When you call their local number for pick-up you are only transferred to an answering machine.

 

You will have no problem from Airport to ship, but just be aware that things have changed, unfortunately, on arrival at port.
