The exchange rate changes on a daily basis and is by no means a deal in favour of passengers. Exchange rates on CCs are set by your bank and definitely a much better deal.

I would never, never exchange money on any ship you lose to much money on the exchange rate.

Based on your itineraries I assume you're looking for a bit of $ currency for cash tips. Likely your local bank will give you a better deal, but if it's $50-100 for tips it probably won't cost you more than $10 or $20 extra.
