Best snorkeling spot on Costa Maya?

Does anyone know what's a good spot for snorkeling on Costa Maya? Right off the pier? Uvero? A certain excurision?

There are 2 good spots here in Mahahual. One is visited by local operators and costs 20 USD per person for a 90 minute excursion. This is with Mayawal Tours, able to be booked at the pier of Cost Maya. The other excursion is cruise run and they take you 4 miles down the coast. What that costs I have no idea.
