Psycopuppy Posted June 10, 2014 #130 Share Posted June 10, 2014 My wife tries to find a locally produced nativity or something that represents the culture of our vacation spot that she can add to her collection. I think we have 20+ now.

barnsey1802 Posted June 10, 2014 #132 Share Posted June 10, 2014 I always buy a fridge magnet, a coffee mug and a miniature ship model. My rule is that if anybody breaks one of my coffee mugs, I have to go on another cruise to get a new one.;)

lady_cruiser Posted June 10, 2014 #134 Share Posted June 10, 2014 We have storms moving in and I can hear my wooden wind chimes I bought in the Bahamas ringing outside. I'm so glad I bought them and think that may be my "thing" to purchase on each trip (along with a bottle of alcohol that I can only get in that particular port, like the Ricardo Rum I bought). So I thought this would be a fun question.... Is there anything specific you make sure to collect on every cruise or port? Decks of playing card that we place in a special viewing area. kingsgirl Posted June 11, 2014 #136 Share Posted June 11, 2014 We try to find a magnet (brings back fond memories every time we are at the fridge) and a Christmas ornament if possible. We try to bring some type of gift home for the young kids of the family too. Last time it was a blow up ship.
