BrianI Posted June 7, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2014 It depends on which flight you get booked as there will be more than one flight. They do leave early, though, from 6am onwards. Brian

BrianI Posted June 8, 2014 #10 Share Posted June 8, 2014 (edited) Many thanks folks, didn't realise there was more than 1 flight. Cheers When you consider that there are 3000 passengers on Ventura and a A320 plane has 180 seats and a B757 235 seats you can work out how many planes are needed. Not all 3000 will be getting off at the same time as some will be on for 14 nights but there would be at least 1500 at each changeover. GEORGET Posted June 13, 2014 #13 Share Posted June 13, 2014 was on the Manchester to Genoa 6am flight told to be at the airport 3 hours before, the return flight we left the ship at 7.30 am. there are other flights later but three left very close together at Manchester. would recommend Venice as the airport is far superior to Genoa airport. Some passengers to Genoa went via Nice which is a 75 minute plus transfer. At Genoa we were packed in with not enough seating, but at least we did not have to check in our luggage as on charter flights they are collected the night before and you next see them on the carousel. enjoy the cruise j
jaceyar Posted June 13, 2014 #14 Share Posted June 13, 2014 We booked thru Imagine and are flying from Manchester to Genoa via Paris which is a pain but our only other option was to travel to Gatwick. We have a hotel in Genoa both before and after the cruise. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk

richleeds Posted June 18, 2014 #16 Share Posted June 18, 2014 Got off Ventura earlier today. We took a private taxi at 09:30 from the ship for the 11.35 flight to LGW. Outbound we didn't want a stupid o' clock start so we flew out to venice the evening before.
