alexdog Posted June 8, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2014 We have cruised many times before but always to warmer climate. I was wondering two things. First, what do you wear on ship...jeans, coats, etc., Is it really cold, just chilly?? Second, what do you do on days at sea.....do people sit on deck?? Any info would be great! isaiahsnana Posted June 8, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 8, 2014 YOur post wound up on the Alaska board, sadly the Carnival Magic does not sail from Galveston to Alaska. The Miracle, however, does. July will be a mixed bag in Alaska. Temps during the day will be usually in the 70's, out on the deck the breeze could be very cool when the ship is moving. In port you should be quite comfortable in a t-shirt with long sleeves or a two layer process so you can remove some when going inside. We are leaving in 6 DAYS on NCL Pearl and we can't wait!! Been on this cruise before and loved it.
mapleleaves Posted June 9, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 9, 2014 if you look down the page you'll find a couple of threads about what to pack, what to wear. Look at the one specifically for women. If you have any further questons after reading thru those threads, feel free to ask.
