Vision of the Seas - WORRIED

 Share

Recommended Posts

We are interested as well. We have two cruises booked in February - same week, same itenerary just one day apart. Norwegian Sun and RCL Vision of the Seas. We have sailed the Sun before and have sailed Grandeur of the Seas twice. The Sun was very nice but more of an "industrial look" to it. The Grandeur was beautiful and one of our favorites. We need to make a decision by December.

We are concerned about all of the negative reviews of Vision. We even asked RCL about them and they tried to assure us that with a 7 night sailing there would be full staffing of the ship as opposed to shorter sailings - didn't know that.

Thanks for the opinions and we'll keep watching.

Have you seen the latest reviews on the 10 night Bermuda cruise? Nothing seems to have improved. We are booked for a cruise in October and are concerned.

I also voiced my opinion about the poor bar service on our recent Vision cruise. It was below the standards that we have become accustomed to. Other than that we had a wonderful cruise. We were travelling with six 18 year olds celebrating high school graduation. They had a blast! Since they could not drink on board, they were not concerned about bar service. They spent most of the days at sea in the pool or hot tubs. They competed in pool volleyball and watched the world cup on the big screen tv. At night they tried out the casino, karyoke, and dancing in the nightclub. I prefer Enchantment to Vision, but we chose Vision because the boys wanted to go to Cozumel. We do not regret the choice at all.

Darkwolf just left today, and wolf is going to send in depth info back, and was going to get other friends opinions as well. Wolf may even try to do some live, so keep checking!

I know that thankfully a lot of. CC's are going before my trip to make a decision.

I hope this helps a tad! I am sure you will have a great time.

Maybe bring some extra favorite bringable eats! Load a tablet, phone, ipod with variety of music. I did a long with a bluetooth speaker and played some music in my cabin and balcony before dinner.

Have an awesome time!

The Compass will have different things since you have a new Cruise Director on the Vision that started on June 9th. If your daughter would like to learn the "Thriller Dance" Steve teaches the classes and their is a performance on the end of the cruise. My kids did this when he was on the Brilliance and LOVED it. He's a young cruise director and also has game shows that no one else in the fleet has so make sure you go to them. Have her get involved and she will have a great time. We are going to be on the Vision in September of this year.
