NCL Sun: Quick Fun Food Tips in MDRoom

:)I sailed the Sun in March 2014. 11 night. Fantastic. The Best. The wrap-around-the-whole ship promenade was worth every cent.

Yes NCL Food is world-'famous' - but don't get discouraged.

I ate every night in MDR.

THe menu showed what was available - meat, fish, vegetables, etc.

I simply asked (with a gentle tone and smile) for the offered meat/fish, double offering of the evening vegetable and asked for any sauces to be put 'on the side'.

I even asked for a 'hot' plate. (Prevented the food from getting cold)

I never never had problem. Everyone (dozens of staff) would be so gracious and kind.

..the sauces and salad dressings can be interesting..so it's easier to serve yourself.

I Love the Sun. Kind and gentle crew. They just need to know what you have in your mind.

You can also ask for the food from the other restaurant. For example, the MDR in the aft has a NY Strip, but the MDR mid-ships has a rib eye steak. All you have to do is ask if you want the other option.
