Gold panning in Skagway

Does anyone know where to go gold panning in Skagway as an independent item? All the gold panning I can find is associated with a salmon bake. My wife and one of my daughters don't like salmon so I'm looking for a way for my kids to pan for gold with out the salmon component.

thanks

The Klondike Gold Dredge has gold panning, but it's not very authentic. We did it as part of a combination tour, including the 40 Below Zero chamber and a sled dog demonstration and opportunity to play with puppies. This was through Princess. Other cruise lines offer various other combinations. You can go there independently, but would have to arrange your own transportation. The do not list their pricing online.

We ended up gold panning at a litle shop down on of the side streets off main street. It was a little rock shop. The price was much better because they only charge for the people panning. The klindike gold dredge on the outskirts of town charged for everyone to go in even to watch.
