All Players Club Members should check the deals being given right now:

First let me say that I had promised myself & my finances that I was NOT going to go on a cruise this year.....

So last night I get a call from my PVP (love the guy) and he left a message saying that I qualified for a free interior cabin. After getting the message, I go on-line & check my available deals.

Lo & Behold - there lurks a "Pack & Play" deal that there is NO WAY anyone could resist. Lots of cruises to choose from. So, my deal is this:

8 Day Southern Caribbean on the Breeze for August 30th. For me & my sister in a balcony, the charge was going to be $ 471.66 total for both of us - WHAT?!

Today before I made the booking, my daughter calls & she wants to go - okay - 3 in a balcony total $ 776.49 - still a great deal, but my PVP wasn't satisfied - "let me see what else I can do" How bout a Balcony & an Interior right across the hall (so my 27 year old daughter can stay out partying to the wee hours without disturbing us) - total bill for BOTH cabins $ 677.49. WHAT!!! PLUS a $100 OBC for each cabin - so basically it's $477.49 for 3 people in two cabins!!!

So - that's 8 days on the Breeze (which I can't wait to see) - to the beautiful southern Caribbean (3 of the 4 ports I've never been to) - me enjoying a balcony cabin & the peace and quiet of kicking the daughter to another cabin & the 3 of us will basically be paying less than $160 each!!

Gotta love Carnival & my great PVP

lol I only got the 45% and $50 chips promotion.... still wasn't too bad but I will continue to wait :) not necessarily for another free room but I play enough for more than $50 chips LOL

we had the free cruise in February - cost us 150 (around that) for taxes and fees.. Congrats! that is an awesome deal :)

So, how do you become a "Player's Club" member? Are those deals in the same place as the VIFP deals?

If you play slots and/or any table game you are automatically enrolled in the Players Club.

The deals are listed under your "special offers."

I got my call today. $50 for interior. $50 cash back. Can upgrade to balcony for $120. So, with fees, taxes AND insurance total for two of us in a balcony= $570.

Will try to work it out. Great deal. Now if they throw in the drink card from day 1.....

Yeah, the only thing that would make it better is that free drink card.

I also got another call from my PVP last night saying that my sister & I can use this same offer one more time - not sure how that happened, but I just can't swing the extra time off work for the dates they're giving. The dates are basically June, July & August - but there are a WHOLE BUNCH of cruises offerred.

So, if you did get this deal - might want to call & see if you can add another cruise taking advantage of the same deal.

I would love to take the 6 day on the Breeze right before our 8 day for a real B2B with these same great rates (it's on the list that my PVP sent), but I just don't think I can add those days on. Of course, I'll be trying my best throughout the day to try to work it out somehow. I just hate to let this deal pass - I'm sure I'll never get this again.

Received a call late yesterday from my PVP with the $50 ea and $100 onboard credit through the casino dept. He said he knew we just got back but felt like it was too good a deal to pass up. Also stated that he received a list of 25 names to call about this promotion. Not sure if we can swing the additional vacation time, but I'm hoping :)

I just checked my profile on Carnival and apparently I qualify for the free room too.. It says "for selected sailings". Where do I find the selected sailings or do I need to call Carnival for this? Anybody know?

Be nice to get a free cruise but don't expect one BUT if you gamble check on Carnival's site for reduced rates (special offers) We saved about $200 off our upcoming inside cabin 7 day cruise. The special rates depend on your play. Me? I get nothing but wife does.

Thanks for the tip; we also are being offered a free cabin on some amazing cruises, with very reasonable up-charge for a balcony, along with OBC. I don't know if we can get away, but it sure is tempting and nice to know.

When you click on offers, look down for Pack & Play - when you click on that, you should get a substantial list of cruises, long & short, with numerous embarkation ports. If you're interested in a particular embarkation port, there's a place to check it off on the left hand side that may be helpful.

By the way, I just have to do it - if my PVP is correct & I qualify for 2 different cruises with this offer (still don't see how that's possible), I'm going to book the 6 day cruise for a Back to Back. I'll go alone on the 6 day (daughter & sister can't get the time off) and then meet them for the 2nd half of the cruise.

I've always wanted to do a B2B and I just can't beat these prices. The only other cruise I went solo on was a 4 day in an interior cabin - I liked it, but admit sometimes felt a little wierd eating on Lido alone, so I'd bring the food back to the cabin - but it was a little claustrophobic - this time I would be in a balcony - that I could totally handle.

Now, if only the PVP is correct - I've kinda got my hopes up & he doesn't get it until after lunch time.

Must be nice. Dropped over 4k and played at the tables a lot on my last cruise and I don't get the offer. Got a pathetic offer for a Premier Cruise that drove me back over to NCL, probably for good.

When I click on my Pack and Play, nothing comes up. It just thinks.....

That's exactly what was happening to me and that's why I posted asking about the selected sailings. I think it's a glitch with the website.. I just let it "think" for about five minutes or so. When I came back to it, the selected sailings were all there. I even tried a different browser thinking that's what was causing the problem. Good luck -- just be patient! :)

I got the same deal for the free inside cabin and I booked two of them! Going in July on the Splendor out of New York with my niece for 8 nights to San Juan, St. Thomas and Grand Turk for $319/for both of us and then in October going on the Pridewith my hubby for 220 with a french door cabin! Couldn't resist!!!!

I just couldn't believe that I was allowed to book more than one cruise using the same discount. I just got off the phone & I'm now doing a B2B on the Breeze 6 Day then 8 Day. My sister & daughter will be going on the 8 day, but I will be doing the 6 day alone - gee how will I be able to stand 6 glorious days on my balcony all alone???

My PVP even moved me to (in my opinion) a better location on the 8 Day so that I wouldn't have to pack & move after the 6 Day.

There's just no way I could pass this up. I will be sailing on that brand new beautiful ship, on a balcony, for 14 days, and after the $100 onboard credit from both cruises, my portion will be $352 for both cruises - that's just over $25 a day!!!
