I just received an email from NCL for our July 5 Getaway sailing. The offer is dining in Ocean Blue for $37.50 instead of the regular $49. Wondering your thoughts on the value of this? I already have Cagney's, Teppanyaki and La Cucina (free with our promo rate) booked. TIA!

I am on that sailing as well and was wondering why I paid the discounted rate when I prebooked for my DH and I a month or so ago. I wasnt going to question it :):)

On our Getaway sailing I never noticed Ocean Blue being busy.

I suspect that they are realizing that the fee is out of line for the volume they need to attract

Awesome!! The Getaway is showing the same price. I prepaid, I wonder if I will get a refund?

Just got off the Breakaway. Ate at Ocean Blue-it was the best meal of the cruise, the food was outstanding-it was $49 when we went. Cagneys was also good-Le Bistro fell short. I would pay again, it was worth it.

I have the UDP and just checked myNCL. $31.20 per person. A little more than 20% off the new price. Not sure how they got $31.20 but I'll take it. I wasn't planning on going there but with this new price I just might have to try it. Thanks for the heads up

Glad to see the price reduction. The customers win this battle. Apparently the extreme jack up in price by the chef reduced profits so much by having mostly empty tables that he was forced to cut the price.

Maybe Mr. Zakarian needs a Restaurant Impossible episode ;)
