NanciEA Posted June 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2014 I was wondering why there are so few cabins on the PG which can either be twins or one queen? Most seem only to have the one queen option. This seem unusual compared to many cruise ships where almost all cabins can accommodate either configuration. I can only assume there are built in end tables which cannot be moved. Does anyone know? Tikiintahiti Posted June 11, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2014 (edited) "Why So Few Cabins With Twin Beds?" Because "twin" likes particular cabins :D Ok, now seriously ........... FP is a prime destination for honeymooners and anniversary couples, I'm sure they like twin beds  Edited June 11, 2014 by Tikiintahiti
ducklite Posted June 11, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2014 I hunk that it's a combination of the fixed furniture and the fact that twins pushed together are not a good substitute for a queen/king, as no matter what they do, there is always a gap or lump in the middle, and most people sailing the PG are couples who want to share a bed. Only need a bed for Twin on the cruises he sails ;) Seriously, I guess I'd agree with the pair thing- young newlyweds, old newlyweds, anniversary couples- lesbian, gay, straight. The pairs were not all the same but I can count on one hand the people on our cruise who WERENT in a romantic pairing! ;)
Pengawin3 Posted February 25, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 25, 2017 I booked PG for a girl's cruise. Best friend from HS and I are doing the Fiji/Tahiti itinerary. Went two years ago with my husband. Glad we booked early enough to get a twin cabin! See, not everyone is a "couple". :)
luv_cruisin33 Posted February 26, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 26, 2017 We booked on of the twin rooms that accommodate 3 people as our son is going with us. I think there are only 4 rooms on the 4th deck like this. I'm glad we booked early also!
