We are booked on QV cruise V411 and have been advised that we will no longer visit St Tropez but now will visit St Raphael. Our query is should we take an excursion to St Tropez or Cannes or stay in St Raphael? We do use a wheelchair.

If you can make it try to go on a tour, St Raphael is not the top location. Alternative take an offical (!) taxi to drive you to St Tropez an spent your time there. Taxis to return are available there. Cannes is very busy, a taxi drive is less enjoyable there as you can see more out of the bus. But the journey with the bus to Cannes probably using both levels of the Corniche road is nice. Another nice tour is to go by train to Nice or Monaco with spectacular views on the whole journey - do buy a first class ticket. I think group tickets are available and it is recommended to travel in a small group of 4 or more.

I have a print out of the St Raphael excursions which were up on 6/6.

They were:

1) St Tropez & Port Grimaud on your own (7.5 hrs) @$58.00

2) Leisurely Cannes (4.5 hrs) @$60.00

3) Monaco & Monte Carlo on your own (7.5 hrs) $68.00

4) Stylish St Tropez (4.5 hrs) $78.00

5) Cannes & St Paul De Vence (8.5 hrs) @$98.00

no.4 is the one using the public ferry - return tickets available on the day at time of boarding from harbour, see http://www.bateauxsaintraphael.com if anyone interested

Seem very strange they were up and bookable and now have been removed - could we be in for another change or maybe another sea day.
