Snorkel gear at Trunk Bay

If we do Trunk Bay on our own is there a place to rent snorkel gear? The shore excursion people on Disney Fantasy said if you don't take the ships tour you wont get snorkel gear and no place to rent. Sounded wrong to me but wanted to check to see what the true story is from others who have been there. Thanks.

Yes, you can rent gear there, but requires deposit or credit card. Not sure of cost.

There are several places in Cruz Bay that rent snorkel equipment, and I think it's cheaper to rent in Cruz Bay than at Trunk.

You can rent snorkel gear and chairs at Trunk Bay. There's shade so umbrellas aren't needed. :)
