Is the Beverage Package Refunded if I Have To Cancel My Cruise

I want to purchase a beverage package for a cruise I've already paid for in full. I always purchase travel insurance in case something comes up....trying to come up with the amount to insure. I'm assuming if I have to cancel the cruise that Royal would refund my beverage package purchase? If so then I won't add that to the amount of the trip in my insurance quote.

If y ou think you may have to cancel why not wait to book the drink package? You can prebook as close as 3 days before sailing or onboard.

Royal will refund taxes, excursions, beverage packages, specialty dining, prepaid gratuities. Basically, all but the cruise fare and insurance.
