Hi,

Yes the fun train still goes. I think it was 6 Euros or something around that amount and it leaves at the end of the street where the train to Olympia leaves from. We went on it on our recent cruise which we have now returned home from and had a fun afternoon. It goes to the winery which is very picturerisque and where you can sample wine for 1 Euro - very cheap but wine was a bit bitter for our taste. You then catch the next fun train on to the beach and then back to Katakolon which is a lovely little town. We went on May 29 so not long ago. You will enjoy yourself. We chose to do this rather than Olympia as we have been to Pompeii and the Colosseum and also the Acropolis and were also going to Ephesus which we found to be absolutely fantastic - best lot of ruins that we have seen.
