Nice and Antibes must sees?

My DH and I are renting a car and driving to Antibes and Nice from Cannes for our day in port. Trying to compile a list of must see or do things for this part of the trip. Not sure if there might be things to see on the road or not. Honestly, I spent so much time researching Rome, Barcelona and Prauge (for after our cruise) that I have nothing for this port.

TIA for sharing your ideas!

I did this in Nice (from Cannes). There is a Chagall museum as well as that Matisse one, if that sort of thing is of interest. With your car you won't want that ho-ho bus, but for anyone else who does it costs €20 pp and leaves from the Lido on the Promenade des Anglais - not from where it says on the Tourist Information leaflet .All the best, Tony

We do not generally like to deal with "must see" questions since folks really differ on what is important. So we will focus on places that go high on our list for that region. If you get an early start (by 10:30 am) we would suggest that you drive directly to Nice and visit the outdoor "Flower Market" (this is replaced by a antique market on Mondays). This market is held on the Cours Selaya which is located in Nice's old town not far from the sea. While in Nice you might also want to spend a little time walking around the old town and perhaps taking a stroll along the, too commercial, Promenade. Many here would also give a strong recommendation to visiting Eze Village (located between Nice and Monte Carlo along the Middle Corniche road. DW and I really enjoy visiting St Paul de Vence which is an old walled city that has attracted many artists (and unfortunately too many touristy shops). As to Antibes, the area near the marina is popular for walking and eating (we have often had lunch in this area). There are also some decent museums in the Nice area and many folks also enjoy visiting the Villa ephrussi de Rothchild.
