: Quality inn and suites ft. Lauderdale south

Has anyone stayed at this hotel in Ft. Lauderdale and left their car parked for a week?

 

Is the hotel nice?

Are the cars safe there?

 

Any help is appreciated.

We have stayed there twice. The hotel is an old 60's type 3 story motel with access through shared walkways/balcony;but the rooms are modern, with free wifi, and the beds are comfortable. The first time we stayed, we arrived early in the day and were given a first floor room by the pool which was ok; the second time we were given a 2nd floor in the building farthest to the back of the property. Unfortunately, the people in the room next door spent the evening partying on the shared walkway.

The food for breakfast is basically inedible but you can grab McDonalds within a short walk. Cars are left in the usual unattended motel parking lot. What the hotel has going for it is the free to and from port shuttle and the free parking and it's cheap.

 

My recommendation is spend a little more and try the Fairfield Inn and Suites.
