Food on Divina vs Poesia last year

We sailed on beautiful Poesia in Caribbean last year and found food if not great, but adequate. Everything was good except for most of the steaks in MDR, they were tough or dry, or overcooked. It was a little disappointing, but did not affect our overall enjoyment much. We cannot wait till our next cruise on Divina in September. But I am reading reviews and many people are rating food as two stars. Is food that bad on Divina? Is it worse than Poesia had?

Hi Tatka- We sailed Poesia three times and lately Divina twice. Generally, the food is about the same. Divina's MDR menu is a bit shorter, but I found the steaks were improved, and the fish improved as well. Our biggest disappointment was the design of both of Divina's MDRs, with serving stations everywhere in view, dirty dishes stacked up high and very noisy, not as fine a dining experience as on Poesia. But don't worry, although much bigger and a bit overcrowded with upto 4300 passengers, Divina is a very beautiful ship and worth at least one sailing. Another Divina plus is the aft area of the buffet, with the wonderful fantail floor to ceiling glass, a great spot for a beer or a snack.

We sailed 3 times on the Divina and one time on the Poesia. Our latest cruise, we found that the quality of soups improved significantly; service at breakfast and lunchtime improved, as well. Salads are horrible, juices are still hit and miss. Buffet improved somewhat. I'd suggest to try brunch at the Galaxy. Service is unimpressive, but the food was great.
