viking sun from amsterdam to basel

I'm wondering if its possible to eat outside...if weather permits the dinners are long and I'd much rather be outside. Is this possible? also, any comments you have on the Sun or it's itinerary would be appreciated.

When we were on board for lunch on the Viking Sun we always ate up on the top deck. There are tables and chairs available, and you can move them into the shade if you want.

 

We did not eat our other meals outside, but I am sure you could if you really wanted to. The dinners weren't too long, and we would head upstairs and sit on the top deck when we were done with our food.
