B2B Question

Recommended Posts

On our last B2B in Nov. on the ruby, the cruise card had the dates marked the you were disembarking at the end of 2 weeks. In past cruises we have bought a bottle on the last night of first week and they let us take to our cabin. In nov. a friend tried it and they told him after running his card for the purchase that he couldn't take it and would receive his purchases at the end of his B2B. I think they have caught on to this from the many posts on here about it. This was on the ruby.

I was on a b2b with some friends in november.

They bought so much liquor at the end of the first cruise,

that they couldn't finish it all during the second cruise.

They did change cabins between the first and second cruise, so it

may not have been obvious that they were b2b.

And, trust me, they tried really, really hard.

This was on Ruby as well.

We didn't change cabins either, The friend that they wouldn't sell to was changing cabins. Looks like a hit and miss thing depending on how busy or if they check you out. Different staff maybe.

There was one gent I met on the ship.

I bought some kind of liquor in St. Martin for a friend at home.

It was not available in the US, or on the ship.

When he came back on board, they help it for his 'convenience'.

When I last saw him -- around 9:00PM on the last night, be was

really, really upset, as Princess lost it.

Either someone stole it, or they delivered it to the wrong cabin.

I have seen on different ships when the liquor is being delivered on the last day that some crew will just leave it in front of a locked cabin on the floor. It seems like an open invitation for anyone to help themselves.
