7A (Obstr Blc) help needed on Spirit Class (Legend)

As a solo I am being 'squeezed' as it were into a 7A obstructed balcony on the Legend. (yes, I could go up to an 8, unobstructed, but it is easily $400 more so they really, really, make it hard to want to take that leap.)

That being said, are there any 7A cabins to Avoid? I'm looking at one that appears to be in the Middle of two lifeboats, but there looks like a different big obstruction there. (6235 on Legend).

Any tips would be appreciated. Need to book today!

Just don't take one by the 1st 3 lifeboats, they are the larger lifeboats and I believe you mean 5235 not 6235.

That thing you believe is an obstruction is only an image of the thing that holds the lifeboat on place and is not a factor back where this room is

Check if 5236 is available! That is the best one - it's considered on of the 'bowling alley' balconies and about 3x the length of a normal one. I have pictures in my Pride review in my signature.

Otherwise, check the deck plans and try and choose one in between lifeboats, and not by the first 3 as mentioned above.

My DH and I have had 2 7A balconies on the Pride, and we actually preferred the cabin that had the body of the lifeboat outside our cabin ( 5186 ) as opposed to the framework (5682) - YMMV It seemed less obtrusive .
