C&A and Emerald Upgrade?

Hi.

I'm one 7-day cruise short of Diamond so I am an Emerald C&A member.

If I book Oasis in a CP or BW view balcony for July 2015, would I be able to

be upgraded to Ocean View Balcony?

I looked at the C&A benefits but it doesn't really tell me.

Has anyone done this before?

Upgrade are rare. You would not be eligible for any free C&A upgrades only revenue dept upgrades.. Edited June 25, 2014 by FLACRUISER99

Depends on how much they discount, and what the difference in price is. If the discount on the OV is equal to the difference in price between OV balcony and CP or BW balc. then it is essentially an upgrade. It's all in how you look at it. (BTW sometimes that price difference isn't very much.)

You would get your balcony discount on neighborhood balconies, just as you would an oceanview balcony, if that helps.
