Coopdog08 Posted June 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2014 Just wanted to share a positive experience with the players club as I get tired of people blasting them because they don't get free cruises or just people blasting carnival service in general. I received a free cruise after we sailed on the Breeze late April/early May. Before leaving the cruise I thanked the casino host but let her know I was not able to take advantage of the free cruise as it was due to be taken by end of June. I told her I have to work and am not fortunate enough to retire quite yet, 20 more years!! I let her know my vacations were limited and I already used one in January and then this one for on cruises. She told me to call the number explain to them the situation and they would work something out. So I called, explained my situation and they extended until end of September. I was shocked and had not looked at cruises so could not book on spot. The lady said no problem call me back by 5/18 and I take care of it for you. I called back couple days later and what turned out to be a couple more times but was never able to get through using the extension provided. I called several times but nobody was able to help me find this lady. Someone finally transferred me to a supervisor to find out if she existed. I ended up leaving a message with that lady but never heard back. Fast forward to today. I have not been able to call after the 5/18 cut off date due to work and there hrs conflicting. I call, get transferred to a nice lady at the players club. Explain the situation and five minutes later I am booked on the Breeze for a late September cruise. I upgraded to lido balcony. I was never questioned once today and received great service. Moral of story, be nice to people when explaining your situation and quit complaining about carnival service as on my six previous cruises I have received only the type of service I received today. Off my soapbox, toddles....
BetMax Posted June 27, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2014 I agree completely. I have never had a problem with the Players Club people. They have been very accommodating in being flexible with their offers. I consider a number of the PC execs we have met to be lifelong friends. Even a few no longer sailing with Carnival. Great people.

kamari Posted July 1, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 1, 2014 I probably would feel that way as well if I was one of the chosen ones to receive such offers. I have never been rude to the PC staff, but they need to get their lies straight about how they are rewarding these free cruises. If you talk to 10 PC reps you will get 10 different answers. That irks me. You should rewards loyal customers who have aided in the success of your business and allowed you to continue receiving a paycheck. :(

Great people. How nice for you! I tried to call them and could never get a human being to answer the phone. The machine asked me to leave a message so I left my phone number with a request for call back four times and never received a call back!
