disneydave Posted June 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2014 Different class of cabin yes I know. Traveling with 3. Dad and 2 kids son 20, daughter 16. When mom goes we book 2 cabins but since just the 3 of us this time booking 1. Port heavy 7 day cruise. Is the difference in cabin size worth the extra 1k for the suite? Oh we do love our aft cabins larger balcony's. We will have the room set up with the bed separated and 1 would get the couch. What would you book and why? monicajay Posted June 28, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2014 Maybe I'm daft but I couldn't even find 8270 on the deck plan. One way or another, I'd take the cheaper cabin with teen kids, they won't really care, and will only show up to sleep. I'd save the money for another time. Maybe spoil mom the next time around. :D
chrismakris Posted June 28, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 28, 2014 (edited) Just sailed on the Summit last January with three(myself, my wife and FIL) in a balcony room on the same level as 6125. The rooms were spacious enough for all three. I spent most of my time out on the balcony as my wife got ready or all three of us were in the room, or I would go for a walk and take advantage of the 123 drink package. ;) Edited June 28, 2014 by chrismakris

Have sailed before without a balcony but after sailing with one would be really tough not to have one. Love sleeping with the door open and coffee in the morning or that evening cocktail on the balcony is now a must do.
coldcanadians Posted June 29, 2014 #7 Share Posted June 29, 2014 We had 6125 last year. It was a great cabin good location and with three in room you would appreciate the extra room plus you get one free meal in specialty restaurant to offset cost.
