Cabin question d2-d8 allure

My question is about Allure We booked a D8 cabin now a D4 Cabin is $800 less than a D8 I though the lower number D cabins were normally more than the high numbers which do you normally get. We are sailing Sept 7th so I don't think I can get the new price cabin although we only paid $200.00 more than the D4 cabin price now. and the D8 is about $600.00 more than we paid.

If the JS price comes down I might try then it would cost me about $1,000 more than I already paid. Would you do a JS if it was $500.00 more

Is a D-1 Worth More ?

I would be very tempted to go from a D to JS on Oasis/Allure for $500 total.

D2 to D8 rooms should be similar just location difference. D1 appear to be on the hump so the balcony is deeper. JS would be much roomier than D1. 500 go for it. 1000 probably not
