We spent one day in St Georges....a quaint town that really was something closer to an Artist's community than a tourist attaction (probably good as both). We really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere of this area. It's what I imagined Key West was like when Hemmingway lived there.

We were wandering around Hamilton one day, going to the fort right across from where the cruise ships dock, and decided we wanted to get something to eat without going back to the ship. We happened upon this place. It was a combination of outdoor deli and bar. Talked to the owner, who was putting up extra TVs in the bar area outside (back of building). Come to find out, he wanted to get ready for the World Cup broadcast.

Admittedly, I'm not a soccer fan (like most people from the U.S.). But, you couldn't help but to get caught up in the event on the island as that's what everyone was talking about.

We hung out here, ate, drank, and had an absolute blast with the local people. It was a wonderful time and we made some new friends......

This place must be new; I don't recall seeing it before.

Thanks so much for the great review! We are looking forward to going in September!

Welove2cruise....The Lemon Tree was down a side street in downtown Hamilton. Wish I could remember the name of the street. But, ask anyone. They'll point you in the right direction. We tried to stay away from the more "touristy" places in Hamilton. We happened upon it by accident.

In the back, where the bar is, it overlooks a beautiful park.

It has plenty of good reviews on tripadvisor.com, too.

We used the balcony every night before bed drinking a nightcap. It was plenty big for both of us. During the day, we spent time in the Haven pool area, though.

Are all the Haven balconies this small?

This pic is probably a fair representation of the entire balcony. We both sat out there at night and had drinks and/or snacks with no space issues. The balcony is probably twice as long as this picture shows, with another chair behind where I took the picture.

Well.....I think that about covers everything. Love the Breakaway. Everything I loved about the first cruise I took to Bermuda a years ago was just intensified on this cruise.

The food was outstanding. The Service was unparalleled. The entertainment was superb. I don't know that I'll ever be able to sail any way else except in the Haven. From what I've heard and read, NCL has the best suite experience of any major cruise line. I don't doubt it.

We did go to the casino the first night at sea. Lost a little money ($100?) when the black jack dealer hit 3 BlackJacks and 2-21s the first 10 hands. Got some of it back at the crap table ($60?). Decided the gambling gods weren't with us and never went back.We just passed through the buffet, Taste and Savor. We at in the Manhattan Room the night they had the Burn the Floor view entertaining us. It was great service, good food, enjoyed the entertainment. Outside of that, we ate in the specialty restaurants given we had the UDP. If it wasn't part of the promo NCL had going on when we booked, I don't know if I would have bought it.

Same goes for the UBP. We certainly took advantage of it as much as we could. Not sure we would have drank $700-$800 worth of liquor, wine and beer for the week to justify it, though.

Loved eating and drinking n the Haven area. Made some really good new friends there. I can't say enough good things about our Concierge, Adrian, and his assistant. While we didn't use our Butler much, he was great, too.

We spent zero time in the children's areas or the main pool areas. No bingo. No trivia. No deal or no deal. No couple's games. Don't know why. We just didn't have much interest in doing those things. They were always crowded when we did pass through those activities, though.

Aside from a few souvenirs, we didn't buy any jewelry, art, liquor, etc. We had a $300 OBC given to us by the online TA. So, we didn't have much of a bill at the end, either (subdued golf clap).

As I mentioned at the outset, this was my favorite Cruise on my new favorite ship, of all the cruise lines and ships I've cruised. Simply outstanding in every way.

I noticed this thread has had nearly 7,000 views. I'm amazed. Thanks for reading and looking....and for the kind comments. If you have any further questions, please post them and I'll check in to answer as many as I can.

I can only think of one other picture to end this pictorial review........
