Loyalty Scheme

Hi,

We have traveled once on the QM2 so we are at basic level i.e. Silver. However we are voyaging on the Queen Elizabeth on the world cruise in January, so I think we will pass the gold and into platinum, as we are not departing until Brisbane.

My question is do you only receive you increased loyalty at the end of the cruise, or when you go to the next level during the cruise?

Thanks in anticipation. This board is an education lol

Apologies for going slightly off topic, we have travelled on two Cunard cruises and we will be going on our third in August. This means we are now gold members and as such receive a gold membership pin. Does anyone know when you receive the pin, is it before the cruise or when you board?

If you haven't received it beforehand, stop by the Voyage Sales Office on board to collect your pins.

In 2009, we were on a 28-day Cunard cruise (booked and paid for as a single voyage) that counted as a single voyage.

In 2013, we were on a 36-day Cunard cruise (booked and paid for as a single voyage) and it was counted as two voyages.

In both incidences, there were "segments" of within these voyages, sold separately. We didn't understand why the voyage in 2009 seemed to be handled differently than the one in 2013, but we didn't argue the fact.

We happily became Platinum mid-voyage in 2013, receiving some additional perks (like more internet time). Not only did our Platinum pins arrive in our stateroom, we also had our identification card/room keys replaced with a Platinum ones : )

Happy Sailing!
