Anybody booked a tour by arrival ?

I was on St.Lucia this march and I liked the bord tour which brought me to Marigot, Anse-le-Raye, Soufriere, the Volcano and the botanical garden there (only the lunch was a little bit dissapointing, but fine).

 

I will return with my parents (so we are three people).

I'm wondering if instead of booking the bord tour if I can just book the

same tour with a local guide by arrival at the pier and get the same thing but cheaper.

 

Has anyone done that there ?
