pfm18 Posted July 7, 2014 #107 Share Posted July 7, 2014 Genuine question for people that have picked Radiance/Vision class ships: Have you never been on the bigger voyager/freedom/oasis class ships or do you genuinely prefer smaller ships? I've done a handful of cruises always on voyager or freedom class ships, but some of the ports I'd like to visit are only accessible on the smaller ships, but I'm worried about being bored at night/sea days. Is there a noticeable drop in things to do on the smaller ships?

Is there a noticeable drop in things to do on the smaller ships? We've been on both classes, and I don't see a large drop in things to do from Voyager class. Sure, there's no ice show, but that's only one show.

Is there a noticeable drop in things to do on the smaller ships? Radiance class is one of the more popular ones in the fleet, most people say it is just about the right size, with the right amount to do, with the right amount of people. Just something about these ladies.. They are gems IMHO At present Vision class have only pulled in 3 votes total!

PompeySailor Posted July 8, 2014 Author #111 Share Posted July 8, 2014 Have a few more figures to add, but Radiance class seems to be in poll position for now. Will update final results for today in a couple of hours. St Maarten easily the fav port of call. How's that Scotch:) Have a good evening Ken. PompeySailor Posted July 8, 2014 Author #122 Share Posted July 8, 2014 Will be wrapping this one up this evening.. Originally was going to run for the week, looks like we have a pretty good response as to some of our favs, not as many as I thought we might of got. But in all some interesting ports a few new ones to me as well. Look forward to trying those one day, other than the usual suspects. Thanks to all who voted:) Happy Days! hellsop Posted July 8, 2014 #123 Share Posted July 8, 2014 SHIP 15 Allure 11 Jewel .... CLASS Oasis 21 Freedom 20 Radiance 30 Voyager 12 Vision 3 Sovereign 0 THAT is a fascinating incongruence... Not sure I've got a favorite ship, but Radiance then Voyager are my favorite classes. They just feel... comfortable. Even if I point at Panama and whine sometimes. Favorite ports are Cozumel and Key West. Mostly because I've gotten to the point that I have "favorite bars and restaurants" in each that aren't part of the usual straw-market tourist-pen. Agreed, class and Ship are not comparable, however less ships in Oasis class than Radiance class. Hence why not congruent:)
