Life is Good Cruising Posted July 7, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2014 How much does a cab cost from the cruise terminal to Carambola Beach Club? And are they priced per person or per cab? They try to fill up a van and it was around $7 pp. If you are going there and more than 1 ship in port with you, I would highly suggest emailing them to reserve lounges and an umbrella, cost is $10 for each. Plenty of taxi drivers in their lobby to take you back to the ship. There have a restaurant, also sushi if interested. Also have nice clean bathroom facilities, showers, adult toys, like kayaks, etc. ,food, drinks and service were very good. If your on a tight budget, you can walk down to the other end of the beach to the Shipwreck Bar & Grill where chairs are only $5 and they have thatched umbrellas, black sand, bring water shoes for that beach, sand is hot and it is rocky getting into the water, water shoes not needed for Carambola. Life is Good Cruising Posted July 8, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 8, 2014 Thanks for the taxi fare. I did already reserve two chairs and an umbrella. :) Pre renting chairs and an umbrella was an excellent idea, they'll give you a prime spot on the beach. Enjoy your day at Carambola! No we haven't been yet. This year was our first time in St Kitts, so we wanted to visit some of the island. I booked a Best Of St Kitts private tour with Philip from Clay Villa Plantation. It was wonderful. Next year we plan on visiting Carambola Beach Club. :)

candydane Posted September 10, 2014 #10 Share Posted September 10, 2014 We're planning to go to Carambola Beach Club next April. I've put together a webpage with information I've found on the internet: S. Friars Beach. Be sure to read the note in red print at the top of each of my webpages as to the accuracy of the webpage information.
