Port in Mykonos

The choices are

- berthed at the pier a mile or two north of town. Few walk from there, it's hot, shadeless & boring. Several shuttle options drop close to the centre (not in the centre, the streets & alleys are way too narrow), but only a max 5 min walk.

- or moored off-shore & tendered into the harbour, right in the middle of town. Tendering is usually by local boats & very quick & efficient.

One of the few ports that I can think of where tendering is better than being berthed.

But don't trust an itinerary which specifies berthed or tendered, it can change overnight according to circumstances (wind, currents etc)

And its no big deal either way.

JB :)
