I was thinking of booking the flyer for the New Year's Singapore to Phuket sailing. Can someone refresh my memory please? I had sailed the Clipper several years ago, but have forgotten some details. Can you wear designer type jeans in the dining room at night? Are the dinner meals satisfying portion wise? I am so used to buffets on large ships that I have forgotten what the smaller ships serve. My husband eats large amounts of protein and never hesitates to order seconds on large ships. I am not sure if this is an option on SF.

 

Is there anyone with Thai island experience that could tell me about the weather over New Year's? Is this prime beach season? Is is hot and sunny? Are the islands mostly about snorkeling, scuba, and beach time? Are some of the islands better for scuba? Any shopping on the islands? Any local cuisine on the islands?

 

How in the heck can I snag business class tickets from LAX without spending a fortune?
