Question about visiting Atlantis with kids...

My husband, 1-year old son, and I will be hitting Nassau from 8am - midnight on our cruise in Nov.

I am thinking about getting a room at the Comfort Inn or at Atlantis to use the pools, beach, and aquarium (and to maybe nap my son in the room!).

- Is this a waste with a 1-year old?

- Are kids even allowed in the pools there if not potty trained?

- Will I be able to take my son on the ferry to Paradise Island without problems? Do I need a car seat?

Should I just get the day passes, or do something else entirely?

TIA!

Just back from Paradise Island. Trust me...the plastic pool chairs strapped to the top of the ferry would not accomodate a car seat! The public beach was fairly clean. I saw lots of little ones playing in the sand! Bring toys and if you rent a chair, put it as close to the water as you can, because others WILL come and put their chairs in front of you! Sorry I can't help about renting a room. Have a great time! We had a lovely day at the beach. The water is gorgeous! :)
