Jen516 Posted August 8, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2005 My husband, 1-year old son, and I will be hitting Nassau from 8am - midnight on our cruise in Nov. I am thinking about getting a room at the Comfort Inn or at Atlantis to use the pools, beach, and aquarium (and to maybe nap my son in the room!). - Is this a waste with a 1-year old? - Are kids even allowed in the pools there if not potty trained? - Will I be able to take my son on the ferry to Paradise Island without problems? Do I need a car seat? Should I just get the day passes, or do something else entirely? TIA!
momof4boys Posted August 11, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2005 Just back from Paradise Island. Trust me...the plastic pool chairs strapped to the top of the ferry would not accomodate a car seat! The public beach was fairly clean. I saw lots of little ones playing in the sand! Bring toys and if you rent a chair, put it as close to the water as you can, because others WILL come and put their chairs in front of you! Sorry I can't help about renting a room. Have a great time! We had a lovely day at the beach. The water is gorgeous! :)
