If you have done this excursion with RCI, how many people were there and were all the people from the same ship? Do I need to bring mosquito/bug repellant? Can I bring my own food/drink in the ruins even though the tour operator may provided food already? Should I bring/wear my swimsuit as we might be go swimming? Do I need to bring cash with me for other transportation fees? Did you pre-book online?

You might also post this on the RCI board.

I have not done this tour, but you are not allowed to bring food off the ship into Mexico. I would bring both bug spray and suntan lotion and bottled water. The US Dollar is always welcome in Mexican tourist areas - bring some along in case you see something you want to buy. Good luck! :)
