Stockholm which bus from Cityterminalen to FrihamnenI?

Do both. :)

Red line Metro towards Ropsten as far as Karlaplan.

Get Blue bus number 1 from Vartavagen, very close to your Metro stop of Karlaplan.

That bus takes you to Frihamnen.

Make sure you have a ticket in advance. Takes about 20 minutes in total.

The one ticket will do you.

If you will be a while in Stockholm, one of the various tourist travel cards might suit, but if you are just making the journey you described, buy a ticket in the station when you get there.

They have a sort of complicated system in place involving zones etc., but your best bet is to go to the ticket office in Central station, tell them where you want to go and buy a ticket from the office. There are cheaper ways, but really, that's the simplest. There will always be someone who speaks English and it should cost you 36 SEK for a ticket valid for an hour or so, plenty of time to get to Frihamnen.

As long as you stay in Stockholm and don't plan some of the more remote suburbs, everything will be in the same zone (zone A).

All subway stations are within zone A and so is both Frihamnen & Stadsgårdskajen. Nynäshamn is not in Zone A though,

Or at http://sl.se/en/ click on the map, then click on the "Zones" box to see the zone borders.
