Gem guarantee assignment

My husband and I booked a mini suite guarantee for a cruise in December. We have been assigned a room but its been changed twice this week!

Is this normal? We've done guarantees on RCL before, so I understand the guarantee process. On our other Gem cruises, we chose our room when we booked it. I'm wondering if it will change again since the cruise is 4 1/2 months away.

Our latest cabin is 11500, which is all the way forward and under the spa. Motion doesn't bother us, so I'm not concerned about that. Has anyone been assigned this room? Did you like it?

Normally once you get the GTY they don't change it, so it's interesting that they're moving you around. I think the first few minis on each side have partially enclosed balconies (hull balconies). They're that way up front to help block the wind. You can see in this picture

You're the first passenger cabin by the bridge. I'm sure you'll be fine. At least you're not under the gym :eek:
