Port Canaveral hotels???

We are going out of Port Canveral in Nov. Need a reasonable hotel the night before the cruise and where we can leave our car for no charge and have ride to and from port.

Although its a site dedicated to Disney, www.dcltribute.com has a good section on all of the hotels, amenities, rental car locations, stores, and restaurants in the cape canaveral area.

hampton inn @ cocoa beach will let u leave your car for the cruise. they charge for the shuttle to the pier ($6-8). people said best western also, but someone siad they would only let 10 cars park.

If you are looking for a budget, business hotel with free shuttle to Port Canaveral and free parking, try the Quality Suites at Cocoa Beach. They also own the Radisson and will give you free parking and shuttle service at the Radisson 3 miles away. We paid $89 for the room with free continental breakfast. The room was a suite and was a good, basic clean room. No frills, no pool etc.

 

If you want to avoid the lines, but still get free parking, and save the $70 parking fee at the terminal....use the Radisson free parking with your voucher from the Quality Suites and then get a $10 taxi to take you to the port. The free shuttle buses from the Radisson atr a bit hard to get on and you have to make reservations for the time you want. Since we like to get to the port as early as possible, we take a taxi from the Radisson.
