Montreal Hotel Kutuma

I am thinking about booking 4 pre-cruise days at the Hotel Kutuma in Montreal. It has good reviews on TripAdvisor and it seems reasonable. Does anyone have anything negative or positive to say about it?

I waited to answer so that "Montrealer's" more in the know could answer...

 

I have not stayed there, but I live in Montreal....

 

The location is not that good. It's on a very very busy street at all times. The street is well known for the hundreds of restaurants and shops.The hotel is a "retrofit" from very old apartments...Like I said, I haven't stayed there but it must be small...very small...

 

I have stayed in boutique hotel in other cities and for me it means beautiful but small...

 

It is close to the "Quartier Latin" with many many bars, nightclub, restaurants and all kind of nightlife.

 

It is NOT downtown or Old Montreal...

 

If you are looking for nightlife, great bars, worldwide choice of beer and those sort of things, it's a good location.

 

It would not be my first choice but it's not a "do not go there" hotel either.
