Country Inn & Suites Cape Canaveral

We are staying at the Country Inn & Suites in Cape Canaveral pre-cruise. I was wondering if any of you can tell me if there if there is anywhere walkable that we can pick up drinks to take on the ship. Wine too if possible. :)

We are staying at the Country Inn & Suites in Cape Canaveral pre-cruise. I was wondering if any of you can tell me if there if there is anywhere walkable that we can pick up drinks to take on the ship. Wine too if possible. :)

 

Carol & I haven't stayed in the area in a couple of years, but to the best of my knowledge, you have to have a vehicle to get to the closest grocery store. It is a couple of miles south on A1A. I think it is a Publix. Then another mile and a right on the bypass gets you to a Walmart.

 

This is the first of the "big three" Canaveral hotels (Residence and Radisson the others). There are a couple of decent restaurants (Zachary's & Kelsey's) plus a McDonalds. But unless something has been built, nothing close by for drinks.

Their website says they deliver. On the website map on their front page you will be next door to the Radisson.
