dress code on breakaway

MH and I are looking forward to a lightly-packed week away. No suits, no gowns....can we do this? I'm not so concerned about my wardrobe as I am his. For me, a sundress changes "dress code" with a simple change of shoes...flip flops or heels. But hub is firm about not getting "dressed." We've been spoiled traveling on Disney the past 2 cruises where nice shorts and sandals are permitted in the MDRs any night.

Will he be ok in shorts, sandals and a collared shirt most nights? (The issue is his dress shoes actually. He wears a size 14 dress shoe and the shoes alone take up half his suitcase! LOL)

Depends on where you want to eat. Here is a guide for you.

ooh, he's not going to be happy. lol

Really? Of the 16 options, there's only 3 places he can't go casual, and two of them are not free (LeBistro and Ocean Blue). Aside from the Manhattan dining room's code, shorts/sandals are good everywhere else.

Here's the full list of dining rooms:

I brought one pair of long pants for Ocean Blue and LeBistro and a pair of Timberlands with a polo -- shoes just can't be sandals. Worked fine both nights.
