Interesting omission on celebrity websiete

Booked a suite on an upcoming Med. cruise that included a specific onboard credit which was partly the offer for the cruise and partly a bonus for booking while on a prior cruise.

Strangely, when I paid the total amount for the cruise, a portion of the OBC vanished.

When I called, I was assured the full credit was there but did not appear on the wed site because of a "website thing"

Any suggestions or comments?

celebrity did send an invoice with the full credit but the website only shows the reduced credit.

 

I guess I am anticipating a "take it up with the home office" from the ship staff

That happened to me on a previous cruise but the OBC did show up while on the cruise

Take the invoice on the cruise with you. If there is a problem just show it to guest services.

We cashed in Visa points last year, they did it in 2 separate transactions. Got on ship, only one showed, the guest services desk was clueless. They sent me to the CC hostess, TAnn was great, tho not her job she took control and had it fixed by the end of the day. Take your copy, it will be worked out.

That happens often. As others have said, just take your copy with you that shows the OBC. It should show up after a day to two. Enjoy your cruise

If you're in a "full" suite or above, no need to go to guest services, just go to Michael's Club, and they'll take care of it for you there.

We have had to do this and the Captain's Club lady solved the problem and got us the OBC. It did take several days.
