Yet another offer from CAS

Recommended Posts

Just received another offer from CAS this time for a slot tournament on the jewel to Alaska. I'm going to pass because I'll be in Las Vegas the end of August but it's great to see all these offers coming in. My next cruise is from the free play offer I got recently which was a great deal. This makes the third offer in the past month from CAS.

They definitely seem to be sending more offers. I was away on a Gem cruise last week (from CAS) and returned home to the same offer for Alaska and also a standard CAS offer for multiple ships in the mail.

The only offer I receive each year is the "postcard" with limited Nov/Dec dates.....this year...even fewer (out of NYC)..and only the Bahamas itinerary..

I know I am not a really BIG gambler..but leave enough donation at the casino for sure ..you would think they would want me back !!!!! :( .

We are picking up a few people on our Roll Call for this slot tournament.

Quick question: will I be able to play some slots anytime or do they close down all slot machines for the tournament?

I think there is just a section where the tournament takes place if it's like it was on the breakaway that's how they did it

If you have rec'd some offers but not one mentioned, call in. They may full for that offer, or might still need to fill some "slots".

To the person that never gets offers and thinks they want you back. Do the math first. If you play is such that maybe you drop $200 over the course of a week, would it be good business to give you $1,000 worth of cabin to hope to get that $200 back?

By the way, that was just a general question. They actually look at the total amount you bet and not on win/loss unless that loss is very high and average play matters less.

I would so rather have received the Bermuda offer instead of the getaway offer for August 9th which I booked. Nice itinerary but a hassle as now we need air and hotel. So much for free cruise, it keeps adding up!

FootBall Parent- I see you sailed BA in March- was that thru a CAS offer and if so, do you remember what time they had the CAS Party ?

 -Usually, I don't mind what time it is but for BA - I don't want to miss sailaway!

Did they have a party/get together on BA?

This past March on Epic- they had get together in Casino- no "real" drinks- they had servers walking around with mimosas. Not anywhere as nice as the cocktail hour they have had in past in Bliss. (Although they had servers walkin around with wine/champagne -I could get anything from the bar) I was told it was in casino because there were very few Cas guests on that sailing. I was very disappointed.

another question- are you GeriC as well? I see that in your signature countdown clock. GeriC has answered many CAS Questions from me and others :p

The only CAS welcome parties that I've attended (Gem, Dawn, Breakaway) have been in the casino....would be fun in another venue....but they kind of want you captive for when the casino first opens once the ship is outside the mile limit for gambling at sea. They've always been on the first night, after sailaway, but before the casino has opened.

Hmm, August 9th, that date must have been very light on bookings, price drops for cash bookings were very large in the UK market but much smaller in the domestic US market.

I received all of those offers from CAS except the Bermuda one you mentioned. Is that for a specific date?

The date of the cruise is Sept. 14-21 and the golf tournament is being held on Thursday, Sept. 18th.
