Southbound Crown Alaska

Leaving for Cruise Tour Aug 6 and sailing from Whittier Aug 9. Have a couple questions if someone has already returned from the Crown.

Noticed post from someone on Island who stated once off the train they waited in a long line to clear security. Did you have a problem ?

Did they have Pub Night on the sailing ?

Did Libby Riddle give a lecture while in Juneau ?

How formal was formal night ?

Just off the Crown a few weeks ago. Took the train from Anchorage to Whittier. We did not encounter any lines at all to check in at the terminal - very quick and smooth.

 

Libby Riddles was on board in Juneau.

 

Formal Nights - people were dressed up - didn't really notice anything over the top - regular formal wear.

 

Sorry don't remember Pub nite if they had it.
