Suggestions for early AM arrival in Papeete?

Expect to arrive in Tahiti during the night or very early morning as I am booking my own flights [hopefully with Star Alliance mileage awards]. Looks like Air New Zealand arrival times are somewhere between 2:55 AM and 5:55AM. Tahitian Princess embarcation begins at 1:00 PM for July 12, 2006 twelve day cruise ending in Honolulu.

Can I find transportation to and a hotel that will check me in at that hour?

The only thing I can think of is that you might have better luck getting an answer if you post your question some other than the Photo section. Perhaps the Princess section or the Tahiti section in the Ports of Call area.
