Cirque dreams child pricing

We have the UDP for our upcoming trip on the breakaway. I made reservations for Cirque Dreams show the first night because it's free as part of the UDP. What I can't find is the pricing for the kids. They, the kids, won't have the UDP. All the info only shows adult pricing. My kids 12 and 7 and never eat off the kids menu but I don't want to pay $40 each for a meal that from what I hear isn't very good. So my question is can they eat off the kids menu for free, or half price off the adult menu. Thank you very much.

Thanks, just found out my wife called NCL, she didn't know I posted this question, and was told that the Cirque Dreams show follows the same pricing structure as other specialty dinning option. Free off the kids menu and half price off the adult menu.

Also when I made the reservations the times are 5:45 and 9:00, in the dailies that someone posted from a couple weeks ago it says show times are 5:15 and 8:30, can anyone clarify?

Thanks for any additional info

I think she was given bad information. Kids have always been the same price as adults at the dinner shows.

We were charged the same price for our kids - $40 each, but then given the same discount as us booking the first night. You will be charged for them.

Just to clarify, because you went the first night the adults were free, and you then received the same discount for the kids, which ended up being free for the kids also?

We have the UDP for my wife and I because of the promotion when we booked. Free UDP for the first two guests for booking a balcony. We have our reservation for us but we were going to wait until we got to the ship to book the kids for the show because I have heard of people having a hard time getting the refund. We are going the first night, so ours shows as being free when I made the reservations.

No - if you have the UDP, its free if you book on the first night. If you don't have the UDP, its discounted on the first night. We had no problem getting a refund for this dinner, or others that I booked online for our 5 children at specialty restaurants.

I'd be nervous about waiting to book them onboard, especially if you booked during a free UDP promotion. The tables are shared, and it was filled when we were there.

Our reservations are also for 5:45. Maybe they are planning to change it to later in September. I'd rather it be 5:45 anyway so we have plenty of time for sail away first.

I'm hoping for 5:45 also, we have been watching the ship leave on Sundays and normally the ship is going under the Varranzano bridge by about 4:50
